1. Acceptance
These terms govern the use of BuzuRadar, including the public website, audit pages, public APIs when available, and the iOS/watchOS apps. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use BuzuRadar. For apps distributed through the App Store, Apple's rules and your Apple Account terms may also apply.
2. Nature of the service
BuzuRadar is an independent transparency, information, and civic-audit tool for buses, BRT, and public transit in Rio de Janeiro. The service helps display fleet data, maps, lines, history, signal quality, and aggregated operational information.
BuzuRadar is not a government agency, concessionaire, transit operator, official support channel, emergency service, or official trip-planning system. Displayed information is provided for assistance and does not guarantee arrival, operation, capacity, safety, accessibility, or service availability.
3. Data and sources
The service uses public data, data processed by BuzuRadar's backend, caches, static sources, derived metrics, and technical integrations needed to operate the website and apps.
Transit data may be delayed, unavailable, inconsistent between sources, affected by GPS signal loss, incomplete in historical coverage, changed by contracts or operations, or affected by processing failures. When the product shows data quality, cache, fallback, or stale-state information, treat that notice as an essential part of the information.
- We do not invent fleet, route, arrival, or operational status when the source cannot support it.
- Route, arrival, and audit results are estimates or derived readings and may be inaccurate.
- Public data remains subject to the source's terms and limitations.
4. Permitted use
You may use BuzuRadar for personal, informational, journalistic, academic, civic, and public-transit purposes, provided that you follow these terms, applicable law, and the service's technical limits.
You must not:
- overload, scan, scrape, or automate requests abusively;
- bypass rate limits, authentication, App Attest, caches, blocks, or security controls;
- use the service to stalk, identify, monitor, or harm specific people;
- send malicious code, exploit vulnerabilities, or attempt unauthorized access;
- present BuzuRadar data as certified official public-transit operations data.
5. Limitations and availability
BuzuRadar is provided as available. We may correct, change, remove, pause, or replace features without prior notice when needed for security, maintenance, cost, data quality, backend changes, or product development.
We do not guarantee continuous availability, absence of errors, absolute accuracy, compatibility with every device, or that a displayed bus will follow the expected route. Before making important travel decisions, confirm information through official channels or local observation.
Do not use BuzuRadar as your only source in emergencies, safety situations, critical commitments, or decisions that require guaranteed operational accuracy.
7. Advertising and non-essential features
The free service may display advertising or use aggregated analytics when these features are enabled. On the website, non-essential advertising and analytics scripts load only after local consent.
Details about technical data, cookies, Google AdSense, Cloudflare Web Analytics, retention, and privacy rights are available in the Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
The BuzuRadar name, brand, interface, text, organization, code, documentation, and visual elements belong to their owners or are licensed as indicated. Use of the service does not transfer intellectual property to you.
Public data, maps, third-party libraries, and external sources may have their own licenses, terms, and attribution requirements. When reusing data or screenshots, preserve the context, source, date, limitations, and clear indication that BuzuRadar is not an official operations source.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the product, integrations, store rules, security, advertising, data practices, or legal requirements. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest published version.
Material changes will be published on this page. Continued use of BuzuRadar after an updated version is published indicates acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
